In August, we helped a family with a kitten they found near their home in Moorcroft. The kitten was around eight-weeks-old, and had a terrible bacterial infection and was very dehydrated. They named her Penny and nursed her back to life. They reached out to us for help, and we happily abliged. Check out the great video posts this family shared with us on our Facebook page as Penny progressed. Good luck to Penny, and to this very loving family! We are so happy she is doing well and living with such a loving family. Check out more Success Stories. August 12: Thank you so much for helping this little angel get on the road to recovery. I hope you know how much it mean to us... I'm thankful she found us, and we found you. August 13: It's been just over 24 hours and this video of Penny brings tears to my eyes. I hope it shows just how much you have helped her. She still has a long road ahead of her, but she's on the right track. Her left eye has me worried, but just look at her. Post by Donna Bojan. August 19: It's been one week since we found this little girl. We were worried that she wouldn't make it through the first night. The smell coming from her was so bad, the only way to describe it is death. We held her close, showed her the love that she has never known in her little 12 weeks in this world. She is the living embodiment of what love can do for someone. Penny is doing amazing. She's lost the sight in her left eye from the infection but she's not going to let that stop her from playing with the toys. Post by Donna Bojan.
