Robynn Nehl
The Fur Kids Foundation board of directors wants to give a huge shout out to Robynn Nehl as the November Volunteer of the Month! Robynn is always a huge help to Fur Kids Foundation. She helped us at Ladies Night selling raffle tickets. She picked up and held onto items that the board members had no room to store so we could sell them and make some extra money. And, on Halloween and for two Saturdays in November, she helped us with Holiday Portraits with Olaf. This was no small feat either—at the Gillette Main Street Boofest, Robyn sported the Olaf costume for quite a while and handed out flyers to people trying to get more to sign up for the event. She had crowds of little kiddos around her and even let us know that her daughter was proud that her mommy was Olaf! She also took all of the photos in the Olaf costume on one Saturday, and helped out the other Saturday with organizing people for their pictures. The amount of time you give Fur Kids Foundation does not go unnoticed, Robynn. We are very grateful for your support! We’re always posting how awesome our volunteers are, and we sincerely mean it. If you have seen a volunteer go above and beyond, please let Mary or Felicia know at [email protected]. On December 1, hundreds of thousands of people across the country will celebrate #GivingTuesday by making donations to the causes that matter most to them.
Can we count on you to remember Fur Kids Foundation? Fur Kids Foundation is the only organization in Northeastern Wyoming that provides families with pets access to veterinary care when they cannot afford it. Since September 2012, the Foundation has kept more than 230 families with pets healthy and together, and granted nearly $35,000 in aid. We're proud to say that nearly 80% of the money we have raised go directly to helping families with pets in Campbell County, Wyoming. Help us continue to keep families with pets healthy and happy for years to come. Donate on #GivingTuesday December 1. Sarah Mullins The Fur Kids Foundation board of directors wants to give a huge shout out to Sarah Mullins as the October Volunteer of the Month! Sarah is a rock star! She became a volunteer with the Foundation in September after Pet-A-Palooza. In October, we were asked by Petco to judge their Pet Halloween Costume Contest, and Sarah jumped at the opportunity to represent the Foundation there. That Saturday, she worked all morning at Avenue Mall—her husband is the Sweet Tooth Honey bee keeper so they sell their products there, so be sure to check them out. Right after her shift ended, she spent two hours as a judge at Petco for the contest and handed out more than 100 flyers about the Foundations upcoming events—Ladies Night Out and Holiday Portraits with Olaf! She also said she handed out information about the Foundation out at Avenue Mall during her shift. Thank you, Sarah for taking time out of your busy schedule to support the Foundation in October. We appreciate it! We’re always posting how awesome our volunteers are, and we sincerely mean it. If you have seen a volunteer go above and beyond, please let Mary or Felicia know at [email protected]. In October, Fur Kids Foundation Foundation had 10 families apply for assistance, and we were able to help seven of those families—for a total of $758.85 given in aid.
