This is handsome fella is Frank, a 7-year-old golden lab / husky mix. Frank recently started to have eye issues; the eye issue is mostly due to pressure in the eye. This pressure can easily be kept at bay with some medication.
His mom, who only receives Social Security, was hoping that if she kept a watchful eye on him, his eye would get better without the medicine, and opted not to purchase it when she initially took him in because her funds were tight. Unfortunately, Frank's eyes continued to bother him, so his mom applied for help with Fur Kids Foundation. We were able to help cover the costs of another exam at the veterinarian to make sure Frank's eyes weren't any worse, and help get him the first round of the medication that he needs to help with the eye pressure. Now his mom knows what to expect for a cost, and can budget them into her finances.
