Meet Miggy, a 4-year-old domestic house cat. Miggy sure had his mom concerned when he had blood in his urine, and was going potty in other places than his litter box. This is a telltale sign of a urinary tract infection (UTI), which Miggy has had before, and his mom was concerned he had another one. According to VCA, there are several signs that your kitty may have a UTI such as:
Miggy’s mom recently left her job, and his dad's paychecks were delayed. With a single income family, they struggled on how they would get Miggy into the vet on a limited income. Someone told them about Fur Kids Foundation, so they decided to apply; and, of course, we were happy to help out. At the vet appointment, it was confirmed that poor Miggy did have a UTI. Miggy was put on some antibiotics, and is well on his way to recovery. Fur Kids Foundation is 100% ran by dedicated volunteers who give their time to help the Foundation raise money, take applications, and spread the word about the good work the Foundation does in Campbell County, Wyoming.
