A huge thank you to everyone who participated in Fur Kids Foundation's 2018 Pet Photo Contest. There were 81 entries this year, and you helped us raise $4,763! We beat last year's photo contest amount raised (3,544). You are a very generous group! Pictured are the pets who will be featured in our 2019 calendar—that will be on sale at our first ever Holiday Bazaar on November 7!
Prize Winners In first place, and featured on the cover, is the Russian Tortoise Bowser who raised $556 and is featured the month of November. We’re happy that Bowser’s family also includes three dogs, so winning a grand prize of a HURTTA leash and collar (or harness), a pet calendar, and a pet bandanna from Rescue Paws Apparel will still work for them. However, this is a great reminder that Fur Kids Foundation will help all cherished family pets—with fur or without! Second prize went to Roscoe and Bo, two very adorable pups (lab and lab/golden retriever) who have incredible smiles and raised $501. They win a pet calendar, are featured the month of October, can select a HURTTA item, and get to wear a pet bandanna from Rescue Paws Apparel. Third prize goes to Adonis (or Donny), who raised $470 and chose to share his month (February) with his siblings, Chloe (who raised $172) and Cody (who raised $61). This family wins a pet calendar, a HURTTA collar and a pet bandanna from Rescue Paws Apparel. Other pets featured in the calendar include: • Emma, $207, who also earned a pet calendar • Jaiden, $144 • Murphy, $137 • Lily, $135 • Berkley, $132 • Tink and Cheyenne, $130 • Patch, $123 • Abigail, $122 • Leo, $115 Be sure to check out the other entries here. Thanks again for helping us raise money to help families with pets in Campbell County Wyoming afford emergency veterinary care!
